Brother TD-4000
The Brother TD-4000is a high performance desktop barcode and label printer at an affordable price. It features high quality, 300×300 dots per inch resolution for fine text, graphics, barcodes and logos. The print speed is at a fast 4.3 inches per second enabling you to make multiple labels quickly and efficiently. The TD-4000′s takes continuous label or paper rolls up to 4 inches wide. Its auto-cutter allows you to custom trim the receipts and labels, or just cut one or many labels from a die-cut strip, with ease. The printer’s high print quality is due to direct thermal technology and it accepts most medium/high sensitivity direct thermal media. For best performance, Brother recommends Genuine Brother RD Roll media.
The TD-4000 comes with software for designing custom labels, receipts and tags. The Windows-based applications, excel, text and .csv files can also design print labels, along with Microsoft Access and SQL databases. The included software is compatible with Windows 7 and the drivers can be found online. Also included in the software package are 5 resident fonts and 14 linear & two-dimensional barcode styles.
The USB and serial interface is a standard feature on this model of printer and allows for easy set up and use from your home computer and other devices such as scanners, postage scales and other stand alone equipment. Measuring just 6.8″ (W) x 9.0″ (D) x 6.2″ (H), the TD-4000 is easily portable and takes up little room, making it perfect for small work areas and travel.
Included in the box you will find the printer and power cord, USB cable, P-Touch Editor CD-Rom, a 2 meter continuous length label roll and 2″ x 1″ label roll (60 labels). The TD-4000 is energy star compliant and is backed with a one year limited warranty.
